Before Starting EDU 585 I thought that I was pretty up-to-date with technology in general and as a learner I always tried to push myself to look for new ways I could to make my classes more interactive and student oriented. However, I would have a hard time sometimes figuring out some of the technology that was available out there all by myself. So when I heard I had to take EDU 585, I got excited because I knew that this course would provide me with more than what I was looking for. And it sure did. “Design Anything. Publish Anywhere” After reading Katie’s blog post . I decided to give Canva a try. I like to try new things and push myself to learn new ways I can teach more effectively. I think Canva will be a great teaching tool to use in my classrooms. Katie does a great job explaining what Canva is so please feel free to click on her post to learn more about it. Basically, Canva is a graphic design tool that anyone can use to make amazing designs for any kind of project you have in mind. It’s easy to use and what intrigued me the most was that you can make your presentations look amazing and professional without paying money. However, there are fonts or images and other things that Canva might charge you for but they aren’t too expensive. My Experience with Canva I started by linking my Google account with Canva.
